Assistive Technology Task Force

The Task Force on Assistive Technology has been working since the 2012 Forum to ensure universal access to assistive technology. 

The task force is being led by WHO with support from Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University, Genos Global, and UNICEF. 


The task force plans the following activities through September 2013:
  1. To develop a background note on universal access to assistive technology.
  2. To develop key advocacy messages to influence the High Level Meeting on Disability and Development and the post-2015 agenda.
  3. A Joint Discussion Paper on Assistive Technology led by WHO and UNICEF.
