The Global Partnership for Children with Disabilities (GPcwd)
GPcwd a global multi-stakeholder coalition, championing the rights and needs of children with disabilities. It comprises over 550 individuals representing more than 240 organizations, including international and national non-governmental organizations (NGOs); disabled persons’ organizations (DPOs); academia; governments and the private sector.
Guided by the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), the GPcwd provides a platform for collective action and advocacy to promote the rights of children with disabilities in both the child and the disability rights agenda at the global, regional, and country levels. and Young Girls with Disabilities.

- Secretariat, currently hosted by UNICEF HQ
- Task forces: Inclusive Humanitarian Action and Disaster Risk Reduction; Nutrition, Education, Assistive Technology; Early Childhood Development; Access to Health; Physical Activity; Leadership & Mentoring for Children and Young Girls with Disabilities.
- National Partnerships (NPcwd) – based on joint collaboration with partners at the national level
- Youth Council – platform for young people with and without disabilities to participate and influence the work of Task forces, to be engaged in the development of NPcwd and promote the principles of GPcwd through social media.
